Towers

Towers and windmills go hand in hand. There are two main reasons for this, higher up there is more wind and the quality is better. Windspeeds go up steadily as you go higher because there are less obstacles that slow down the wind. Those obstacles have another effect, they cause the wind to become turbulent.

Having a windmill without a tower is like having a solar panel in the shade !
