Solar Energy

I have a slightly different opinion on what is and is not solar energy. If you buy into the theory that the solar system is largely made up of ejected matter from the sun [I do] then every type of energy we use is solar in origin.

Geothermal is energy from the magma in the Earths still cooling core.

Coal is energy stored from plants that used sunlight to grow long ago.

Oil, whether its produced in a deep core process or is actually from plant remains deposited over time, is again solar energy.

Nuclear energy is from the decay of radioactive material present on earth and is from that ejected material from the sun.

Wind and hydro are driven by solar energy creating differences of temperature and pressure that creates the wind it also drives the precipitation cycles that moves water in our environment.

Tidal energy is caused by the gravitational pull of the Moon. The Moon is in orbit as a result of the energy released when the solar system was born that makes our planetary system revolve around the sun.

So the next time you hear that solar energy is not practical or is not handy enough for general use you can rebut with these facts [as I see them].
