Molecule

Molecules are small particles of matter. Molecules are made up from one or more atoms. Combinations of molecules can be made and broken apart through ''chemistry', in the form of chemical reactions. Usually this involves the exchange of electrons between the various molecules and atoms that go into the reactions and the addition or removal of heat.

When molecules line up in a nice pattern this is called 'crystallization', the resulting objects are called 'crystals'. These usually have very special properties. An example of a crystal is the diamond, a very precious gemstone.
